Role Overview
DAC is looking for a contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the recruitment team in shaping and executing the company’s hiring strategy. The role covers staffing activities across North America and includes ownership of senior-level and strategic searches, along with recruitment systems, tools, and processes. A major focus of the position is to help the organization stand out in the talent market through modern sourcing methods, social recruiting, and stronger candidate engagement.
What You Will Do
- Source, attract, evaluate, and hire high-caliber candidates.
- Support hiring plans with a long-range view of workforce needs.
- Create and roll out effective sourcing approaches.
- Own recruiting activity for designated roles and searches.
- Track and improve performance against time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality targets.
- Build pipelines for mission-critical and repeat hiring needs.
- Partner with P&C leadership to shape the recruiting strategy, including job ad optimization, recruitment marketing channels, job board selection, and campaign planning.
- Share and promote the employee referral program.
- Review current and future staffing requirements against business priorities and help implement talent acquisition plans.
- Use recruiting tools and selection processes to improve efficiency, hiring quality, and the applicant experience.
- Communicate the recruitment process clearly to hiring managers.
- Design sourcing methods that reach non-traditional and diverse candidate communities.
- Help develop and evolve the company’s employer branding approach.
- Take part in networking and community/business activities to strengthen market visibility and professional knowledge.
- Define, monitor, and report hiring metrics for open roles.
- Analyze recruitment, performance, and retention data to identify process improvements.
- Manage outside staffing vendors and candidate submission workflows.
- Contribute to team projects that support talent attraction goals.
- Train hiring managers on interviewing and recruitment best practices.
- Support and follow company values in day-to-day work.
- Handle additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of end-to-end recruitment experience.
- Hands-on experience finding both active and passive talent using social platforms, search tools, and job boards.
- Working knowledge of employment laws relevant to the regions where DAC operates.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent background.
- Ability to build trust and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Good business judgment and comfort handling complex situations.
- Highly organized, creative, and outcomes-focused.
- Solid project management capabilities.
- Experience influencing and partnering with senior executives.
- Ability to learn, manage, and train others on applicant tracking systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Work Arrangement
This position follows a hybrid schedule with three in-office days each week. Fully remote work is not available.

Compensation
Pay is influenced by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific business needs. The projected total compensation for this role starts at $70,000 and can reach $90,000.
