Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist in Human Resources is responsible for overseeing the complete recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to final hiring decisions. This position acts as a crucial partner in recruitment operations, onboarding, HRIS management, and workforce planning within a regulated healthcare setting. Collaboration with hiring managers and HR leaders is key to achieving timely, compliant, and quality hiring outcomes. The role also focuses on upgrading Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS platforms, enhancing recruitment workflows, and generating reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the full recruitment cycle: job posting, candidate sourcing, resume evaluation, preliminary interviews, background checks, and offer coordination.
- Stay informed about recruitment trends, market intelligence, and sourcing methods.
- Work with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, role requirements, timelines, and candidate qualifications.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with job descriptions, company policies, and legal regulations.
- Manage interview scheduling, candidate communications, and feedback collection from hiring teams.
- Deliver a professional and positive experience to all candidates during recruitment.
- Organize new hire onboarding, ensuring all documentation, background checks, and employment prerequisites are completed.
- Maintain compliance with organizational standards, accreditation criteria, and federal/state employment laws.
- Accurately record all recruitment and onboarding data in the HRIS.
- Oversee recruitment functionalities in ADP HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems like LinkedIn and Indeed.
- Support improvements to recruiting systems, including workflow optimizations, integrations, and data accuracy.
- Engage in HR tech projects focused on recruitment automation and enhanced processes.
- Assist with system testing, user education, and documentation for system enhancements.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate pipeline status.
- Prepare regular and special recruitment reports for HR leaders.
- Suggest improvements to optimize recruitment efficiency and scalability.
- Support workforce planning and hiring forecasts initiatives.
- Act as a communication bridge between HR, hiring managers, and recruiting agencies.
- Guide hiring managers on best recruitment practices, timeline management, and compliance.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all candidate and employee engagements.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or human resources.
- Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment effectively.
- Expertise with ADP HRIS and major Applicant Tracking Systems such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
- Excellent organizational abilities, communication skills, and interpersonal aptitude.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Recruitment experience within healthcare, nonprofit, or regulated sectors.
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS recruiting modules and system integration.
- Experience supporting HRIS/ATS implementations or enhancement projects.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is required.
- Preferred certifications include SHRM-CP, PHR, or related HR credentials.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $86,000 to $95,000 annually. The employer offers a comprehensive benefits package that encompasses:
