Job description
Role overview
We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the HR function and manage recruitment from start to finish across a wide mix of roles, including technology, product, commercial, and corporate positions. In this position, you will work closely with hiring managers to create strong, diverse talent pipelines and ensure candidates have an excellent experience throughout the hiring journey.
This role is well suited to someone with 3 to 6 years of recruiting experience gained either in-house or with an agency, and who is eager to take on more ownership, help shape hiring decisions, and develop in a busy, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete recruitment process for a set of vacancies across several business areas, from the first briefing with the manager through to offer stage and handover for onboarding.
- Work with hiring managers to clarify role expectations, develop strong role briefs, and agree on the ideal candidate profile and assessment approach.
- Write job adverts and descriptions that are clear, accurate, appealing, and inclusive, and publish them across the right channels.
- Find passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent pools, networking, and inventive outreach methods.
- Ensure every candidate receives a smooth, timely, and positive experience at each step of the process.
- Carry out initial screening interviews and record structured feedback in the ATS, Workable.
- Handle offer activity, including pay benchmarking, support during negotiations, and communication before joining.
- Advise hiring managers on strong interview and assessment practices, acting as a dependable recruitment partner.
- Share progress updates, market intelligence, and pipeline status on a regular basis.
- Support the wider HR team with employer branding, talent initiatives, and improvements to recruitment processes.
- Keep applicant records accurate and current in Workable throughout the hiring cycle.
- Monitor and report on hiring metrics such as time to hire, cost per hire, and conversion rates through the funnel.
- Look for ways to simplify workflows and raise both the speed and quality of hiring.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in either an internal talent acquisition team or a high-volume agency setting.
- Proven experience recruiting for a range of functions such as technology, commercial, operations, and corporate roles.
- Hands-on experience with an ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter, with comfort working in data-led hiring processes.
- Strong ability to manage stakeholders, influence decisions, provide guidance, and challenge constructively when needed.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills, paired with strong attention to detail.
- A self-starting, accountable approach with the ability to juggle several vacancies at once.
- Clear commitment to fair and inclusive hiring methods.
