Job description
Role overview
Join a fast-growing digital assets investment management business in a senior Talent Acquisition role focused on technology hiring across EMEA. This position carries a broad and visible remit, with ownership of all non-US technology recruitment and a major emphasis on building the London technology function.
What the role will focus on
You will shape sourcing activity across Europe, lead talent acquisition strategy for the London technology team, and partner with senior leaders to refine how the firm evaluates candidates. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, with a particular focus on hiring senior talent while also building a strong pipeline for future needs.
The firm is looking to bring in experienced Quant, Software Engineering, and Machine Learning talent at senior levels. You will also work closely with business heads to assess the market, define hiring timelines, and execute lateral hiring plans that support the firm’s continued expansion.
Business context
This is an opportunity to join at a pivotal stage as the organisation expands its global presence and strengthens its London technology team. The role sits within a growing TA function and is considered critical to the firm’s continued build-out.
Candidate profile
Applicants should bring at least 5 years of relevant recruitment experience within financial services. Experience in an in-house talent acquisition environment is preferred, though candidates from financial services recruitment agencies may also be considered. Strong communication and presentation ability is essential, and the employer places significant importance on academic background and any relevant industry qualifications.
Compensation and benefits
The package is budgeted at up to £250,000 total compensation in year one, with the variable element dependent on the seniority of the hire and their first-year performance. To protect candidates who may be moving before receiving a bonus, the firm may offer a sign-on bonus and/or a bonus guarantee. A strong benefits package is also included, featuring a high-end pension, healthcare cover, and fully subsidised breakfast, lunch, and gym access.
Additional information
This is a business-critical appointment and will be the second member of the London-based TA team.
