- Source candidates actively through online platforms, professional networks, events, conferences, referrals, and other conventional and non-conventional channels.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of talent for immediate and future hiring requirements.
- Engage passive candidates who are not actively job hunting but may be a strong match for the organization.
- Participate in industry events, career fairs, and networking opportunities to improve employer visibility and candidate reach.
- Screen applications carefully to evaluate experience, skills, and cultural alignment.
- Conduct structured interviews against agreed criteria and competency frameworks.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand open roles and design effective hiring approaches.
- Advise stakeholders on hiring practices, market movement, and candidate expectations.
- Keep hiring managers and candidates informed with timely updates and feedback throughout the process.
- Monitor recruitment performance indicators such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source of hire.
- Prepare reports on hiring activity, trends, and challenges for senior management.
- Identify improvement opportunities in recruitment workflows and implement changes that increase efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of experience handling talent acquisition for engineering or manufacturing organizations.
- Background in the energy sector is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in hiring for a wide range of roles across different functions.
- Strong ability to source talent through multiple channels and tools.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for working with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Well-developed organization and time management skills, with the ability to juggle several priorities at once.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
