Role overview
This management-level role focuses on building a strong and diverse talent pipeline across several business units, handling screening and hiring for complex roles across multiple service lines or regions, and overseeing recruitment and hiring reporting. The position also partners with cross-functional leaders, including HR business partners, talent acquisition strategy, succession planning, and diversity teams, to shape and execute both immediate and long-range hiring strategies.
What you will do
- Create and sustain sourcing approaches that attract a broad mix of candidates for multiple business units.
- Build relationships with external sourcing partners such as job boards and search vendors to improve candidate reach and quality.
- Review pipeline and flow data to identify sourcing opportunities and recommend better hiring strategies.
- Lead candidate screening and selection for complex openings, including defining applicant criteria, interview methods, and qualification standards.
- Coordinate management interviews and help narrow applicant pools using minimum and preferred requirements.
- Oversee recruiting and hiring reports, including reviewing, sharing, building, and improving reporting tools.
- Provide specialized guidance on recruiting and hiring matters, including escalated issues and process concerns.
- Research and advise on state and federal employment regulations related to recruiting.
- Support employees and managers with recruiting policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Work with leaders to resolve recruiting concerns, review audits and data, and strengthen process quality.
- Develop and align talent acquisition plans with HR and business leaders to support organizational goals.
- Drive improvements in recruitment systems, policies, processes, performance measures, and service delivery.
- Track hiring metrics, assess service levels, and help evaluate recruiter and client satisfaction.
- Coach, develop, and support team members while promoting accountability, collaboration, and performance growth.
Required background
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Science, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of experience in human resources or business operations, including a minimum of 3 years in recruitment.
- Equivalent directly related work experience may be considered in place of the degree requirement.
Preferred background
- 4 years of recruiting experience focused on sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for high-volume roles.
- 4 years of recruiting experience focused on hard-to-fill professional or licensed positions.
