About the Role
Steve Madden is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support the full recruiting workflow and help ensure each hiring process runs smoothly. In this position, you will keep requisitions organized, protect the quality of the candidate experience, and provide day-to-day coordination that helps the recruiting team move quickly and efficiently.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage requisitions from start to finish in the applicant tracking system, including creation and approval steps.
- Ensure job postings are accurate and consistent across all hiring channels.
- Source and screen candidates for entry-level openings across different business areas.
- Support internal mobility efforts, including employee transfers and visibility initiatives.
- Partner with hiring managers to maintain momentum and keep searches on track.
- Maintain job descriptions and keep recruiting databases updated.
- Prepare the weekly internal job newsletter and manage the careers inbox.
- Track employee referrals and coordinate related rewards.
- Assist with recruiting events, career fairs, and internship program activities.
- Take on special projects that improve talent attraction and hiring processes.

Compensation and Benefits
The base pay for this role is expected to fall between $27 and $31 per hour, with the final offer influenced by factors such as relevant skills, training, experience, education, and organizational structure.
