Role overview
This contract opportunity is with a leading financial services client in Toronto, Ontario. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator - Banking will help deliver a smooth, well-managed post-offer and onboarding experience by handling requisition routing, offer documentation, and background screening follow-up.
The pay range for this role is CAD 17.60 to CAD 30.03 per hour.
What you'll do
- Handle requisition assignments, prepare offer letters, and track the completion of background screening clearances
- Work closely with both internal teams and external contacts to keep offer and screening workflows moving as planned
- Make sure requisitions are allocated in Workday within the required SLA timelines
- Support a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers during the post-offer stage in Workday
- Carry out the full offer letter process, ensuring every review and data entry step is completed correctly
- Look into and resolve issues tied to Workday offer letters and pre-employment screening activities
- Contribute to special initiatives and other tasks that help the team meet its goals
What we're looking for
- About 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent mix of postsecondary education and practical exposure
- Comfort working at an intermediate level with Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 applications
- Ability to work on your own, manage priorities effectively, and raise issues when needed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Good analytical judgment and problem-solving capability
- Strong interpersonal influence skills for working with different stakeholders
Nice-to-have background
- Previous success in recruiting or sourcing work
- Relevant postsecondary education
- Hands-on experience with Workday
- Experience in the financial services sector
