Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our Auckland CBD office. This dynamic position involves coordinating BDO New Zealand’s annual Early Careers recruitment campaigns, managing the Sir Henare Ngata Scholarship program, supporting employer branding efforts, and providing advisory support for lateral recruitment across member firms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute BDO NZ’s Early Careers recruitment campaigns in collaboration with member firms to attract talent effectively.
  • Lead the administration and stakeholder engagement of the Sir Henare Ngata Scholarship program, including communications and governance.
  • Support employer branding activities across various channels including digital platforms and campus outreach.
  • Manage the development and dissemination of employer brand content and related campaign materials.
  • Offer end-to-end recruitment advisory services to member firms, ensuring high-quality hiring outcomes.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships within the BDO network and contribute to the broader People & Capability community.
  • Share insights on recruitment trends, campaign performance data, and market best practices.

Required Experience and Attributes

  • Between 2 to 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, sourcing, or early careers management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and project coordination ability.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and aligned with BDO’s company values.
  • Experience in professional services and possessing a relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
