About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Systems Analyst to become a part of our technology department. This position focuses on assessing business needs, examining system operations, and devising technological solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, scrutinize, and record business and system requirements from stakeholders.
- Assess current systems, workflows, and processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and end-users to implement system enhancements and solutions.
- Assist in system design, integration, deployment, and testing phases.
- Analyze system performance and propose modifications to boost efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Diagnose system issues and coordinate resolutions with technical teams.
- Generate and maintain system documentation, process diagrams, and technical reports.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions align with business requirements.
- Support change management, system updates, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Prior experience in systems analysis, business analysis, IT support, software development, or a related domain is advantageous.
- Possess strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and system implementation methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and produce clear functional documentation.
- Proficiency with concepts related to databases, SQL, APIs, and system integration.
- Understanding of process mapping, workflow analysis, and business process improvement techniques.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or comparable platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Capacity to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a similar field is preferred.
