Sustainability Consultant

Role overview

GREENER by IHCC is hiring a Sustainability Consultant to join its team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will take ownership of sustainability certification assignments, help clients secure green building ratings, and support the delivery of efficient, high-performance sustainable solutions across Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sustainability certification assignments such as LEED, Mostadam, WELL, and TRUE.
• Build certification approaches and sustainability action plans tailored to each project.
• Assess project documents to confirm alignment with sustainability requirements.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to keep projects on track.
• Draft and submit the documentation needed for certification.
• Track sustainability measures during the construction stage.
• Prepare technical write-ups and final certification submission packages.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Between 3 and 5 years of experience in sustainability consulting or green building consultancy.
• Hands-on exposure to at least two LEED-certified projects.
• Good understanding of sustainability certification workflows and standards.
• Strong written communication and report preparation abilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• LEED AP certification is mandatory.
• Mostadam AP certification is an advantage.
• WELL AP certification is an advantage.

Eligibility

Professionals with relevant sustainability or green building consultancy experience who meet the qualification and certification requirements can apply.
