About the Role
Join Parsons in Doha as a Support Staff / Administrative Officer, where you will play an essential role in maintaining efficient office operations and supporting project workflows. Key Responsibilities
- Manage general administrative duties such as coordinating meetings, compiling reports, and managing communications.
- Oversee the inventory and maintenance of office supplies and equipment to ensure seamless office functionality.
- Maintain both physical and electronic filing systems to facilitate easy access and organization of important documents.
- Assist in creating, distributing, and archiving documents and reports related to ongoing projects.
- Coordinate office tasks in line with project timelines to guarantee timely completion of assignments.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools to prepare documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and reports effectively.
- Support the operation and upkeep of electronic document management systems (EDMS), ensuring project document tracking and accessibility.
- Systematically organize project documentation for quick retrieval when needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Diploma or specialized training from an accredited university, with approval by the project engineer.
- Bring a minimum of 10 years' experience in relevant administrative roles, including at least 5 years' expertise with EDMS technologies such as Primavera Contract Management.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with document control through all project phases, utilizing computer-based EDMS systems.
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Be computer literate, with strong administrative and organizational capabilities.
- Preferably have at least 3 years of experience working within the Gulf region.
- Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken) is a strong advantage.
