Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer interactions by guiding team members to impress every visitor personally.
• Coach associates on providing the best customer service experience, ensuring speedy and friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store staff, making sure assigned duties are fulfilled effectively and customer service standards are maintained.
• Support receiving, unpacking, and organizing new inventory promptly for display on the sales floor.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when necessary, taking charge of store operations, supervising personnel, handling customer concerns, and resolving issues.
• Handle store opening and closing procedures including safeguarding cash, securing premises, and preparing for daily workflow.
• Assist in onboarding and training of new associates on policies, products, and operational standards to boost performance.
• Drive sales growth and control expenses through merchandising optimization, employee management, and excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with store leadership in merchandising and recovery efforts.
• Perform store upkeep tasks such as waste removal, sweeping, restroom cleaning, and stockroom maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education is a plus.
• At least one year of management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Creative problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure.

Physical and Operational Requirements

• Regular use of cash register.
• Lift and move merchandise up to 25 pounds and place or retrieve items up to 5–10 feet high.
• Climb ladders frequently to access stock areas.
• Regularly kneel, bend, twist, stoop while working on the sales floor or stockroom.
• Communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and management both in-person and by phone.
• Move extensively across the sales floor and between stockroom and sales areas.
• Flexible work schedule accommodating days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel if needed.
• Interpret written and electronic instructions related to merchandise layouts, associate scheduling, and procedures.
• Remain standing upright for approximately 80% of work time.
• Minimum age of 18 with ability to meet essential job functions compliant with laws.
