Job description

Role overview

This fixed-term, 24-month remote role sits within the Digital Strategy Team and supports the Future Focused Planning program. The position leads deployment across a cluster of manufacturing sites and requires regular travel, typically 15–35% of working time depending on the deployment stage and site needs.

Purpose and strategic leadership

In this role, you will guide a team of Supply Planning Transformation Specialists to roll out the Future Focused Planning program successfully across multiple manufacturing sites. A key part of the job is ensuring every assigned site fully transitions to the new Target Operating Model (TOM) and adopts the new ways of working in a lasting manner. You will act as a senior change leader, helping site teams embed sustainable transformation while maintaining pace, quality, and consistency across the cluster. Progress, risks, and outcomes will be shared with Program Leadership on an ongoing basis.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct, coach, and support a team of Supply Planning Transformation Specialists on a day-to-day basis.
  • Manage the full rollout of the Future Focused Planning program across all assigned manufacturing sites.
  • Ensure every site reaches complete adoption of the new Target Operating Model within the agreed timeframes.
  • Serve as the first escalation contact for site-level blockers, risks, and deployment issues.
  • Track deployment schedules, milestones, and site readiness across the cluster.
  • Develop and sustain productive partnerships with site leaders, supply chain teams, and operations stakeholders to keep the transformation aligned and engaged.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and issues to Program Leadership.
  • Promote a consistent rollout methodology across sites and carry forward lessons learned and best practices.
  • Apply change management practices that help make new behaviors stick at site level.
  • Work closely with the second Deployment Lead to stay aligned on approach, exchange learnings, and resolve cross-cluster challenges.
  • Partner with the project team to refine process playbooks and blueprints by gathering site feedback and validating that the materials reflect real deployment conditions.

Qualifications and background

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is required. A master’s degree or a professional specialization in Supply Chain or Operations is preferred. The role calls for 8 to 12 years of experience in supply chain planning, manufacturing operations, or business transformation. Candidates should have a strong history of leading teams through transformation or operating model change initiatives, along with solid experience in supply planning, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning (IBP). Experience with operating model implementation in a manufacturing setting is important. Familiarity with SAP, IBP, or similar planning systems is desirable, as are change management certification and Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement credentials.

Accountability and leadership expectations

You will be fully responsible for the successful rollout of the Future Focused Planning program across every site in your cluster. The role also includes ownership of the performance, growth, and wellbeing of the Supply Planning Transformation Specialists. Deployment quality, TOM adoption, and milestone delivery will all sit within your scope, along with the identification and escalation of risks. A collaborative, business-focused culture is expected within the deployment team and across the sites.

Influence and decision-making

As the most senior transformation representative for the cluster, you will have significant influence over the rollout approach, the pace of deployment, and site readiness decisions. You will coordinate alignment among global supply chain teams, site leadership, site supply chain teams, and program stakeholders to support a smooth move to the new operating model. You will also present updates on deployment progress, risks, and value realization to senior stakeholders to help inform decisions. The role includes championing new ways of working and supply planning transformation across the manufacturing network.
