Role Overview

This position is for a Specialist I, Supply Chain, responsible for strengthening supply chain operations and improving the movement of materials and products between suppliers and customers. The role supports inventory efficiency, process effectiveness, and the delivery of high-quality solar products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage supply chain activity across procurement, inventory handling, and logistics to support timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
  • Build and sustain productive supplier and vendor relationships, including negotiating terms, handling issues, and confirming supply reliability and quality.
  • Track inventory levels, study stock patterns, and apply methods that help avoid overstocking while reducing shortages.
  • Look for opportunities to streamline workflows, lower operating costs, and improve the overall performance of supply chain operations.
  • Review supply chain data, monitor performance measures, and turn findings into practical recommendations for leadership.
  • Coordinate with production, quality assurance, sales, and other teams to keep operations aligned and resolve supply-related concerns.
  • Make sure supply chain work follows company rules, relevant regulations, and accepted industry practices.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline is required.
  • Professional credentials such as APICS or CPM are considered an advantage.
  • Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain management or a related function, ideally within renewable energy or manufacturing.
