Role overview
The Supply Chain Planning Product Analyst will support the product team responsible for the supply chain planning application ecosystem. The position covers design, build, and support work across the application landscape, while also contributing to a transformation and digitalization initiative aimed at simplifying and aligning planning processes, data, and technology.
What you will do
- Work closely with global business process owners to capture, organize, track, and prioritize requirements.
- Partner with integration, master data, and data & analytics specialists to discuss and progress product backlog items.
- Monitor the technology landscape, including vendor roadmaps, and help maintain a standard-first approach.
- Own efforts to reduce technical debt and optimize total cost of ownership.
- Collaborate with solution architects to define platforms, principles, design patterns, and technical standards, and support solution and integration architecture in coordination with enterprise architecture.
- Contribute to proof of value, proof of concept, minimum viable product, or the introduction of new technologies when required.
- Create detailed technical solution and architecture designs that are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices.
- Advise senior technology and business stakeholders on architecture, technology, and integration direction.
- Lead technical teams during solution implementation and provide guidance on architectural best practices, security expectations, and compliance needs.
- Serve as the owner for supply chain data objects, including data structures, data flows, and transformation rules.
- Organize and structure complex analytical requirements.
- Carry out functional build and testing of the system, including configuration of properties, reports, calculations, and integrations, and document the outcomes.
- Act as the design authority for the assigned scope, with a strong focus on data quality.
- Support business data migration activities and data quality upkeep through automation where possible, along with defining and tracking key indicators.
- Spot risks and issues early, communicate them clearly, and define mitigation plans.

- Solid understanding of supply chain planning concepts such as forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP.
- Working knowledge of planning tools such as SAP APO, OMP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or o9 is preferred.
- Good grasp of supply chain business processes and associated data flows.
- Understanding of master data, transactional data, and data model concepts.
- Basic familiarity with data integration and data flow principles.
- Exposure to data modeling and data warehouse domains is an advantage.
- Understanding of SAP ERP data structures and execution processes is beneficial.
- Experience with enterprise integration practices and integration standards is valued.
- Experience in FMCG supply chain planning environments and end-to-end planning flows is a plus.
Experience and qualification
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related area.
- Fluency in English is required.
- More than 7 years of experience as a Product Analyst in FMCG is expected.
