Job description

About BONIIK

BONIIK is a leading Australian distributor of Korean Beauty (K-Beauty) products, supplying major national retailers, department stores, and e-commerce platforms. As our distribution expands, we are seeking a strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee our entire supply chain from origin to final delivery.

The Role

This pivotal position involves transforming our logistics from an operational function to a strategic one. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for enhancing international freight operations, improving demand forecasting accuracy, managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and ensuring adherence to the strict compliance requirements of major business-to-business retailers. This role demands a blend of high-level strategic thinking and practical execution within a dynamic, rapidly growing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee international freight forwarders, customs brokers, and domestic transportation providers to enhance transit efficiency and reduce overall shipping expenses.
  • Develop sophisticated forecasting models to maintain optimal inventory levels, aligning with sales projections to minimize stockouts and reduce aged inventory.
  • Guarantee that all wholesale shipments meet the routing guide specifications and delivery timeframes mandated by major retail partners.
  • Identify and resolve inefficiencies within the current supply chain by implementing streamlined workflows, automation, and system enhancements (ERP/WMS).
  • Manage the supply chain budget, negotiate contracts with suppliers and carriers, and provide regular reports on critical performance indicators such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF), landed costs, and inventory turnover rates.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the inventory and fulfillment team, cultivating a workplace focused on efficiency and ongoing improvement.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics management capacity, preferably within the FMCG, cosmetics, apparel, or retail distribution sectors.
  • Proven expertise in global logistics, including importing into Australia, understanding customs regulations, and managing 3PL relationships.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with advanced proficiency in ERP systems (such as NetSuite, Cin7, or SAP) and expert-level data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel. Prior experience with implementing or upgrading inventory management systems is highly advantageous.
