Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement activities and improve supply chain operations at our site in the United States. This position requires collaboration with multiple teams and focuses on optimizing inventory, sourcing new products, and supporting manufacturing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Set annual procurement targets and objectives related to performance, cost savings, and key performance indicators while coordinating execution plans with site, division, and group leadership.
- Oversee daily procurement operations, collaborating with the site operations team to manage inventory and Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) effectively.
- Ensure accurate order placements and expedite deliveries to meet manufacturing demands on site.
- Assist the Site Operations Lead in achieving business goals and conduct Pareto-based gap analyses to drive performance improvements and recovery plans.
- Lead functional Demand Level Agreements (DLA) and support other site DLAs as required, focusing on maximizing performance schedules (MPS).
- Source new products and facilitate new product introduction activities aligned with company policies and strategies, including cost targeting, contracting, gate reviews, risk management, and customer requirement considerations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field is required; degrees in analytical disciplines such as Mathematics or Engineering are preferred.
- Between 7 to 10 years of experience in procurement, with a strong preference for candidates having an aerospace industry background.
