Supply Chain Manager

Role Overview

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain processes to support the projects, programs, and operational requirements of AI-D. This position is part-time and fully remote, requiring oversight of demand planning, procurement coordination, and ensuring the prompt and cost-efficient supply of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor inventory levels to maintain sufficient stock and reduce excess waste.
• Analyze data to forecast demand accurately, enabling effective planning and resource allocation.
• Coordinate procurement activities including supplier management, contract handling, and purchasing processes.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance supply chain efficiency and transparency.
• Mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and policies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong capabilities in demand planning and data-driven analytical decision-making.
• Proficient in supply management and procurement methodologies to manage supplier relationships and contracts.
• Expertise in inventory tracking and management to optimize stock replenishment and minimize waste.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Good organizational and time management skills suitable for a part-time remote working arrangement.
• Prior experience in supply chain management, operations, or logistics is desirable, preferably within technology or nonprofit sectors.
• Relevant educational background or certifications in supply chain management, business, or related areas will be beneficial.
