Job description

About the Company

Kepler Communications is building the future of on-demand space connectivity by enabling real-time Internet access for assets in orbit. The company has launched 33 satellites so far and operates the first commercial optical data relay constellation, supporting continuous space communications as well as advanced on-orbit compute and hosted payload capabilities.

Beyond its technology, Kepler emphasizes a collaborative, ambitious team culture made up of builders and problem-solvers who are driven to push the limits of what can be achieved in space. The company values diverse perspectives and aims to provide an environment where people can grow, lead, and contribute to meaningful global impact.

If you want to help shape the future of the space economy, this role offers an opportunity to do high-impact work in a fast-moving environment.

Role Overview

The Supply Chain Manager will own procurement, supplier relationships, and material readiness across satellite programs from start to finish. This position acts as the link between engineering, program management, and external vendors to ensure prototype efforts and large-scale constellation production are backed by a resilient, responsive, and cost-conscious supply chain.

This is more than a routine purchasing role; it calls for strategic thinking, technical understanding, and strong execution in a demanding space-industry setting.

Compensation and Employment Status

The posted salary range is CAD 94,363 to CAD 119,363. Final compensation will be determined by the company based on factors such as relevant knowledge, skills, experience, performance, education, and training. The role is contingent upon program award.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement activities end to end for satellite programs.
  • Manage supplier performance and maintain strong external vendor partnerships.
  • Ensure materials are available and ready to support prototype and production timelines.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering teams to translate technical needs into supply chain execution.
  • Work with program management to align sourcing and delivery plans with project schedules.
  • Support scale-up from prototype builds to constellation-level manufacturing with an efficient supply network.
  • Balance cost, agility, and reliability while maintaining operational continuity.
  • Contribute strategic input to improve supply chain processes in a fast-paced environment.

What the Company Offers

  • Competitive pay along with a strong equity program.
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage, including dependents.
  • Unlimited vacation, parental leave support, and a company-wide holiday shutdown.
  • Semi-annual company-wide celebrations and regular in-office events.
  • Relocation support for approved roles.
  • Annual professional development funding of $1,500.
  • Access to a fully stocked Toronto office kitchen with snacks, beverages, games, and quality appliances.
  • Town halls, celebration calls, and other company-wide gatherings to keep teams connected.
  • Recognition as a Great Place to Work® for five consecutive years.

Equal Opportunity and Accommodation

Kepler Communications is committed to fair hiring and an inclusive workplace. Applications are welcomed from all qualified candidates, including women, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, visible minorities, and people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Applicants who need accommodation during any stage of the hiring process can contact the People & Culture team at [email protected] for support. The company also notes that human recruiters participate in every step of the hiring process, while AI-based tools may assist with initial application review by ranking candidates using job-related criteria; these tools support human judgment rather than replace it.
