Supply Chain Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team on a contract basis. This remote position involves collaborating with experts to simulate and assess wholesale supply chain operations, focusing on efficiency and scalability. You will evaluate and optimize freight distribution schedules and vendor service level agreements (SLAs) for global procurement scenarios. Your role will include providing detailed, real-world input on purchasing processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiation. Additionally, you will review and critique AI-generated documentation to ensure accuracy and industry relevancy, and offer actionable feedback to enhance the logical reasoning of AI systems in supply chain contexts. You will also analyze logistics workflows and recommend improvements aligned with wholesale best practices.

Requirements

• Possess extensive experience in comprehensive supply chain management, with a focus on wholesale, logistics, and international procurement.
• Exhibit proficiency in assessing and refining vendor SLAs and freight distribution plans.
• Demonstrate a history of success in procurement, vendor discussions, and agreement management.
• Maintain excellent written and spoken English communication abilities, crucial for project success.
• Be capable of delivering precise, organized feedback and clear documentation.
• Apply strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities, coupled with a problem-solving approach.
