Job description

Role Overview

This role involves supporting the smooth and efficient flow of goods, materials, and information across the supply chain. The objective is to ensure operational effectiveness and the timely delivery of products and services. You will be responsible for coordinating various logistics activities, closely monitoring the performance of the supply chain, and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to maintain streamlined and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate transportation logistics, manage inventory, and oversee order fulfillment processes.
  • Track shipments and maintain effective communication with suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensure record accuracy, and support procurement, warehousing, and distribution functions to meet business demands.
  • Analyze supply chain and logistics data to generate operational reports and identify opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Assist in resolving issues related to deliveries, inventory discrepancies, or transportation challenges.
  • Uphold compliance with operational procedures and support vendor relationship management.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and current.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, warehouse staff, procurement specialists, and business stakeholders to optimize supply chain performance and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A solid grasp of supply chain management, logistics operations, and inventory control principles.
  • Familiarity with transportation, warehousing, procurement, and distribution processes.
  • Capability to efficiently coordinate shipments, deliveries, and overall supply chain activities.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheet software and supply chain management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and implement operational improvements.
  • Skill in monitoring inventory, tracking orders, and maintaining precise records.
  • Understanding of supply chain performance metrics and reporting standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities for handling multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers, logistics partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to operational accuracy and compliance.
  • Experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, or logistics platforms is beneficial.
  • Capacity to analyze operational data to support informed decision-making.
  • Adaptability to dynamic and deadline-driven work environments.
  • Dedication to continuous improvement, efficiency, and outstanding customer service.
