Caesarstone is a renowned global company specializing in the design and manufacture of premium engineered stone surfaces, used in both commercial and residential interiors such as bathroom vanities, flooring, quartz countertops, and kitchen splashbacks. They offer low silica and silica-free materials alongside porcelain surfaces and are celebrated for their superior customer service to UK channel partners and consumers. Following extensive expansion and relocating their Head Office and Distribution Centre, Caesarstone has introduced a new role for a Supply Chain Co-ordinator based in Lutterworth.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Co-ordinator will take charge of the transportation and dispatch segments within the supply chain, ensuring smooth management of fleet operations, delivery scheduling, and driver team leadership. Their duties also encompass warehouse support, inventory oversight, carrier liaison, and adherence to transport and health & safety regulations.

  • Oversee daily transportation and distribution operations and manage vehicle scheduling, route planning, and dispatch activities.
  • Monitor delivery timelines, resolve delays, and ensure effective use of fleet resources and drivers.
  • Track and report on transportation Key Performance Indicators including on-time delivery, fuel consumption, and vehicle status.
  • Coordinate logistic flows between warehouses, suppliers, and customers, supporting stock management and reporting.
  • Work closely with warehouse, upstream supply chain, and customer service teams to guarantee precise shipping and documentation.
  • Assist the Distribution Centre Manager in supervising the driver team, promoting safety, and handling operational escalations.
  • Ensure compliance with transport legislation and company policies, maintain vehicle maintenance schedules, and uphold health & safety standards.
  • Investigate any incidents related to accidents, delivery complications, or operational disruptions.
  • Prepare operational reports and KPIs, identify avenues to cut transportation costs and boost efficiency, and support logistics process improvements.

Preferred Expertise & Knowledge

  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement techniques.
  • Strong data analysis capabilities and performance management proficiency.
  • Experience working with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Leadership abilities to drive change and transformation within logistics.
  • Understanding of distribution systems including order routing, dispatch issues, and procedures.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively across departments to meet shared objectives.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position based on site, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
