About the Role
Positioned within the Operations department and based in Singapore, this role as a Supply Chain Analyst for APAC centers on collaborating with key stakeholders to optimize operations, execute implementations, and enhance processes across the supply chain. The scope spans sourcing and procurement, international shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, domestic distribution, and payment processes within the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a central control point, delivering data and fulfilling various ad hoc analytical requests.
- Review comprehensive performance KPIs from third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to monitor trends, investigate root causes, recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Create and maintain a variety of reports and dashboards related to STS, OTC, and SFDC for weekly and monthly reviews by internal teams.
- Handle and resolve supply chain complaint tickets within the APAC area.
- Collect and analyze spending data, highlight irregularities using visual graphs and dashboards to support strategic initiatives.
- Administer APAC supply chain contracts, including tracking expiration and renewal timelines.
- Conduct supply chain modeling, feasibility studies, and financial analysis via data aggregation, analytical modeling, scenario planning, and forecasting.
- Assist in gathering supply chain data required for requests for quotation (RFQ) to 3PL vendors.
- Provide support for SAP system troubleshooting within supply chain operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain operations or roles managing logistics service providers.
- Proven capability in complex problem solving and applying statistical analysis methods.
- Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in managing and analyzing large datasets.
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical assessment, and decision-making capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail with an emphasis on data accuracy.
- A proactive approach and eagerness to learn continually.
- Solid expertise in ERP systems, especially SAP, is highly preferred.
- Experience using visual analytics tools, such as Power BI, is necessary.
