Job description
Job Summary
We are looking for a careful, data-driven Supply Chain Analyst who can support the full supply chain cycle, from purchasing and logistics to inventory control and demand planning. In this role, you will examine supply chain information, spot inefficiencies, and turn findings into practical recommendations that help improve performance, lower costs, and streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Study supply chain data to uncover patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Track stock levels, forecasted demand, and supply planning activities.
- Assist with procurement, logistics, and distribution workflows.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
- Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly.
- Detect supply chain bottlenecks and propose process enhancements.
- Support demand forecasting and planning tasks.
- Review supplier performance and contribute to vendor management efforts.
- Maintain accurate data across supply chain systems and reporting platforms.
- Help drive cost-saving and efficiency-focused initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations, or a similar analytical position.
- Strong ability to analyze data and solve problems.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis functions.
- Hands-on experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Good understanding of supply chain processes and operational workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, along with good organization skills.
- Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or comparable systems.
- Working knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management tools.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools.
- Awareness of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process-improvement methods.
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce supply chain environments is an advantage.
