Student Assistant – Event & Congress Center

About the Role

Do you want a dynamic and varied side job at one of Franconia’s most popular event locations? Join our team at the Event & Congress Center in Bamberg, where you can contribute to and support a range of functions in a state-of-the-art venue with 6,000 m² event space. We’re looking for students to assist with service, beverage counters, guest support, cloakroom, stagehand duties, and more.

Key Tasks

• Be an active member of the event crew and assist with a variety of roles.
• Support event services including beverage sales, general service, cloakroom management, and event setup/takedown.
• Contribute to leading events across music, fairs, entertainment, art, culture, and congresses.

Requirements

• Current enrollment at a university or technical college.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ideally, some initial experience at events, though enthusiastic newcomers are welcomed.
• Keen interest in working within the event industry.
• Reliable and able to work well in a team.
• Conscientious and fast work habits.
• Fluency in German (at least B2 level) and a well-groomed appearance.
