About the Team
The US e-commerce operations team at TikTok is dedicated to delivering top-quality products coupled with an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute strategies aimed at merchant growth, onboarding, and sustained success on TikTok Shop.
- Conduct analysis of product selections, consumer demand, and platform supply to uncover expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups including operations, product development, and industry sectors to convert strategies into practical and scalable programs.
- Utilize TikTok's platform tools and product features to enhance merchant empowerment and operational processes.
- Lead and manage cross-departmental projects to align stakeholders and ensure successful project completion.
- Regularly assess merchant performance, product assortment impact, and broader ecosystem trends to optimize strategies.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in e-commerce strategy, marketplace operations, merchant services, or category and assortment strategy roles.
- Proven success working alongside diverse teams, including operations, product management, and merchant success.
- Strong data analysis skills to inform strategic decision-making and discover business growth opportunities.
- Experience in marketplace platforms, merchant ecosystems, or driving e-commerce growth initiatives is preferred.
- Proven capability to architect and implement scalable operational or product solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing abilities.
- A self-motivated, proactive approach able to excel in fast-changing and dynamic work environments.
- Knowledgeable about US retail and e-commerce trends, consumer insights, and brand behaviors.

Compensation and Benefits
Annual base salary ranges between 159000 and 384000 US dollars, varying depending on qualifications and location. Additional discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units may be available. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance starting from day one, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, wellness programs, 10 paid holidays, 10 sick days, and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (accrual increases with tenure).
