Role Overview

The Strategy & Operations Manager in the Production team acts as a key enabler for the VP of Production, spearheading strategic initiatives that improve how the Production department operates and evolves. Responsibilities include managing training and onboarding, monitoring location performance through KPIs, and leading organizational health projects. This role requires working closely with Regional Heads and cross-functional partners to translate business priorities into actionable, measurable activities that ensure effective execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional strategic projects from problem definition through implementation and evaluation.
• Develop and manage onboarding and training programs to ensure quick and consistent integration of new team members across sites.
• Establish and monitor production-related key performance indicators and metrics, identifying areas for operational improvement.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives by overseeing pulse survey action plans and ensuring follow-through on feedback.
• Collaborate with Regional Heads to synchronize priorities, address operational requirements, and standardize best practices.
• Organize the production team's operating rhythm including planning sessions, reporting, and business reviews for executive leadership.
• Support the VP of Production with analyses, strategic recommendations, and leadership materials.

Qualifications

• Over five years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or program management roles focused on both analysis and execution.
• Successful history of managing cross-departmental projects from start to finish with measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to define KPIs, interpret data, and translate insights into action plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence and align senior leaders and regional teams.
• Self-motivated and structured operator comfortable handling ambiguity and juggling multiple priorities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed with advance notice.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working in high-growth or multi-location operational environments.
• Knowledge of people-centric programs such as onboarding, training, or employee engagement initiatives.
• Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, BI dashboards) and project management software.
