Job description
Company Background
Mindrift, powered by Toloka—a pioneer in scalable AI and machine learning data solutions since 2014—connects domain experts with state-of-the-art AI projects. Our goal is to shape the training and reasoning capabilities of next-generation generative AI models through expert-designed learning frameworks.
Role Overview
We are forming a Management Consulting domain that transforms real consulting engagements into structured learning scenarios for advanced AI. This team will be composed of seasoned strategy consultants from elite firms who can convert genuine project experience into comprehensive end-to-end examples, covering problem structuring, work planning, analysis, synthesis, and client-grade recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create authentic consulting project settings reflecting real engagement details such as industry dynamics, financial aspects, limitations, conflicting data, and incomplete information.
- Design structured consulting tasks for AI, segmenting projects into specific activities that reflect actual consulting work, including market sizing, due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategies, operational assessments, and benchmarking.
- Develop evaluation methods including grading frameworks, rubrics, and definitive solutions that train and fine-tune large language model-based grading systems for scalable AI output assessment.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of three years of direct consulting experience at one of these top-tier firms: McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY-Parthenon, Kearney, or Strategy&.
- Proven ability in structured problem-solving with a hypothesis-driven approach.
- Expertise in converting ambiguous client challenges into clear analytical steps and deliverables.
- Strong logical rigor and commitment to high-quality output.
- Self-motivated and capable of independent work.
- Proficient written English communication, equivalent to B2 level or higher.
Additional Information
No extensive technical skills are required as training on relevant lightweight tools will be provided. Contributors can earn up to $60 per hour depending on their expertise and contribution pace. Compensation varies by project scope, complexity, and required expertise.
