Position Overview
DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson company, is seeking a Strategic Supplier OUS Support professional based in Cork, Ireland. This role is critical in developing compliant, value-focused supplier partnerships across regions outside the United States within Engineering & Property Services (E&PS). The position supports regional and global supplier strategies tied to Global Real Estate, Facilities Management, and Corporate Operations to ensure consistent sourcing, supplier oversight, and contract governance.
This role involves collaborating cross-functionally with regional teams, global category leaders, and key suppliers to promote operational excellence, cost savings, and high service quality across international locations.
Primary Duties
- Execute strategic supplier and category plans for E&PS services across various international regions aligning with global goals.
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders to monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to service levels, resolving issues, and implementing continuous improvement measures.
- Manage supplier onboarding, governance compliance, and alignment with company policies for both Johnson & Johnson and DePuy Synthes.
- Support contract lifecycle activities such as implementation, renewals, and modifications in compliance with established sourcing strategies.
- Analyze supplier data including performance and spend metrics to derive actionable insights for decision-making.
- Work jointly with Global and Regional Procurement, E&PS, and Finance teams to aid cost optimization and risk reduction initiatives.
- Participate in regional and global supplier and business review forums to maintain governance standards.
- Ensure all supplier functions comply with regulatory, quality, ethical, and sustainability standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field required; Master’s or advanced procurement studies preferred.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, supplier management, facilities, or related operations.
- Experience managing strategic suppliers or categories within regional or global environments.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, globally dispersed teams.
- Good command of contract management principles and supplier governance.
- Preferred experience includes Real Estate, Facilities Management, Corporate Services, global procurement tools, working in regulated/global matrix organizations, supplier risk or sustainability programs, and regional exposure to OUS or EMEA markets.
Other Requirements
- Fluency in English is mandatory; additional European languages are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 10–20%.
- Procurement or Supply Chain certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is between €52,400 and €82,915 annually. Benefits include annual performance-based bonuses dependent on company and individual results, vacation, parental and bereavement leave, caregiver and volunteer leave, well-being reimbursements, financial and health programs, service recognition awards, and eligibility for various insurance plans.

Additional Information
