Job description

About the role

Google’s Global Partnerships Sellside Monetization organization helps publishers, digital platforms, and content creators generate revenue from their ad inventory while maintaining a safe experience for users and advertisers. The team builds durable partnerships that create value for both partners and Google, and supports monetization through advertising, analytics, and site or app design. More than a million publishers and app developers use these solutions to grow their businesses.

In this position, you will join the Accelerated Partner Sales team as a Strategic Partner Manager in a fast-moving, highly entrepreneurial environment. The focus is on finding new growth opportunities, recommending practical solutions, and helping partners reach revenue and business goals.

You will provide strategic and technical guidance to identify where partners can expand and how they can monetize content through products such as AdSense, AdMob, and Google Ad Manager. You will also work closely with Google Product and Go-to-Market teams to build scalable programs that improve business results and partner satisfaction.

Individual compensation is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US compensation: $89,500 to $128,000 annually, plus a 15% bonus target, additional bonus, equity, and benefits.

Minimum qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Background in one or more of these industries: Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology.
  • Experience working with senior executives and collaborating across several levels of management.
  • Experience handling agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working across product, engineering, marketing, strategy, and legal functions.
  • Ability to manage several projects at once and prioritize well.
  • Proven skill in spotting and evaluating business opportunities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, including market research and business proposal evaluation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Grow business results for Google and its partners at scale.
  • Partner with internal teams such as Product, Technical Support, and Marketing so partners can access the expertise and resources they need.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by offering strong product and business guidance and delivering excellent partner support.
  • Share updates on Google products, features, and optimization opportunities, while identifying ways partners can better meet their business goals.
  • Develop multi-channel engagement approaches using scaled tools and influence across large partner groups.
