  • Identify and report any spoiled or damaged materials.
  • Prepare shipments and assist with loading/unloading trucks and convoy materials.
  • Ensure that all banquet-related storage areas, including CONEX containers, remain clean, free of debris, and safe from hazards like ice buildup.
  • Disassemble and dispose of boxes and trash post-delivery.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment such as forklifts and ladders.
  • Assign and manage escort duties for personnel as required, including briefing and accompanying OCN staff to and from work areas.
  • Support other departments or facilities to achieve overall mission goals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
  • At least three years of experience in warehouse management, foodservices, hospitality, nutrition, or a related area.
  • Demonstrated expertise in FIFO inventory management for a minimum of three years.
  • Experience in overseas or deployed facility operations is strongly favored, particularly within Middle Eastern or Islamic countries.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified forklift operator licensed for vehicles with up to 10,000 lbs capacity.
  • Trained and certified to perform escort duties according to base protocols.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License; possession of a U.S. Passport preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain valid Residency Visa for Qatar.
  • Capable of working outdoors in harsh environmental conditions including extreme heat and dust.
  • Physical ability to lift materials weighing up to 65 pounds and endure extended hours exposed to weather and hazardous conditions.

Skills and Knowledge

  • In-depth understanding of the Tri-Service Food Code and inventory management using FIFO principles.
  • Competence in safely using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent oral and written communication capabilities.
  • Proven leadership abilities in staff management and coordinating complex logistics or life support operations.
