Role overview
We are looking for a Storeperson to join the Mackay warehouse team at the Paget site. This role supports the smooth running of the warehouse and helps ensure mining and heavy industrial customers receive accurate orders on time.
You will be involved in day-to-day stock movement, including receiving goods, picking and packing orders, and dispatching items, while also helping maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient warehouse.

Key responsibilities
- Help with daily store and warehouse activities to keep operations running effectively.
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email about products, pricing, orders, stock, deliveries, and accounts.
- Work closely with other teams to deliver a high level of service.
- Assist with stock control and inventory handling.
- Support local customer deliveries when needed.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in customer service, warehousing, or a related environment is preferred.
- A current driver’s licence is required.
- A forklift licence is an advantage, but not essential.
- A strong focus on safety and keeping the workplace clean and organised.
- Clear communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Good customer service approach with strong problem-solving ability.
- Mechanical aptitude is beneficial, especially experience or knowledge in mining, bearings, or power transmission.
