Storeperson Level 2 - Berrinba

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Storeperson to join our dynamic warehouse team in Berrinba at DHL Supply Chain. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through order processing and inventory management, meeting and exceeding customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately and promptly process inbound and outbound orders.
• Organize and store goods by performing put-aways in designated warehouse locations.
• Replenish stock in a timely manner to maintain availability and continuity of operations.
• Utilize handheld devices such as RF scanners for order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
• Operate Warehouse Management System (WMS) tools to print labels and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist in stocktaking activities to uphold precise inventory records.
• Identify and mitigate potential workplace hazards ensuring safety compliance.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working within a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with outbound warehouse procedures such as picking, packing, and consignment preparation.
• Commitment to quality control and daily achievement of on-time dispatch KPIs.
• Ability to support leading hands with tasks including order releases, activity tracking, and stock verifications.
• Possession of a forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Act as a primary point of contact on the floor for queries and communications.
• Preferred working hours are 9am to 5pm, with flexibility to cover earlier shifts starting at 7am or 8am as needed.
• Strong sense of urgency and capability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
