Role overview
The Storeperson Grade 2 position supports the daily running of a Defence logistics site and assists with warehouse activities linked to DTL operations. The role involves handling Defence equipment, supplies, and materials through receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch. Work is carried out under the direction of a Team Leader and must meet contractual obligations, Defence rules, safety requirements, and site operating standards.
What you will do
- Assist with the smooth day-to-day operation of the site.
- Receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch Defence-related goods and materials.
- Follow DTL contractual requirements and Defence compliance standards.
- Work in line with safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Maintain an orderly, secure, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.
