Job Summary
This position focuses on keeping warehouse inventory under control, maintaining healthy stock levels, and supporting smooth day-to-day storage operations. The role covers receiving materials, placing them in the correct locations, issuing items when needed, and keeping inventory information accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Track inventory levels and arrange replenishment when supplies run low.
- Check incoming deliveries and confirm they match the related purchase orders and supporting documents.
- Store materials in an orderly manner and keep the storage area neat and well organized.
- Handle material requests and ensure items are issued to the relevant departments on time.
- Record all stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returned items, with accuracy.
- Carry out periodic physical counts and investigate any differences between actual stock and system records.
- Observe safety procedures and help maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required; training or certification in supply chain or materials management is an added advantage.
- Prior experience working as a storekeeper or in inventory control is expected.
- Strong planning and organizational ability, with careful attention to detail, is needed.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office is required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with others, are important.
