Overview

Urbacon Saudi Company seeks an organised and meticulous Storekeeper to oversee inventory operations, manage storage areas, and ensure seamless flow of goods within the organisation based in Saudi Arabia. The role involves receipt, storage, issuance of supplies and equipment along with accurate record-keeping and stock level monitoring to support operational needs while fostering a safe and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle receiving of incoming shipments, checking quantities and quality against orders or packing documentation.
  • Maintain and organise storage spaces with clear labelling and easy access.
  • Distribute materials and supplies to authorised staff in accordance with requisitions while keeping precise transaction logs.
  • Track inventory levels and place reorders timely to avoid shortages.
  • Regularly audit inventory through physical counts and reconcile with records.
  • Inspect goods for damage or defects on receipt and dispatch, reporting issues and liaising with vendors for resolution.
  • Ensure storage areas remain clean, orderly, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Assist in disposing or recycling surplus or obsolete stock according to procedures.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill material needs efficiently.
  • Utilise inventory management software, preferably SAP, for tracking, updating and reporting.
  • Participate actively in health, safety, and environment initiatives, adhering to company and IMS policies.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Understanding of inventory control systems, stock management, and auditing.
  • Strong detail orientation for accurate transaction recording and discrepancy identification.
  • Effective organisational skills for optimising storage and retrieval.
  • Clear communication skills for interacting with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Problem-solving to manage stock imbalances and damaged inventory.
  • Experience with ERP platforms, particularly SAP, is highly preferred.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum total work experience of 3 years, with at least 2 in inventory or warehouse management.
  • Experience within the GCC region is a plus.
  • Diploma in a relevant field required.
  • Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems mandatory.
  • NEBOSH or other HSE certifications advantageous.
