About the Role
The Visitor Experience team at Guinness Storehouse offers exceptional hospitality at Ireland's leading visitor attraction. They are responsible for delivering engaging and immersive guest experiences that convey the Guinness brand story and heritage. Millions of visitors annually enjoy these memorable encounters, which the team ensures from arrival to departure.
As a Storehouse Assistant, you will act as a Guinness brand ambassador, providing warm, professional, and captivating experiences to visitors globally. Your responsibilities will include leading immersive activities such as Guinness tastings and pourings, delivering confident presentations, and upholding customer service excellence in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and create memorable experiences for all guests.
- Warmly greet and assist visitors throughout their time at the storehouse.
- Guide guests through interactive Guinness experiences, including tasting sessions.
- Deliver engaging presentations and orientations with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Represent the Guinness brand proudly and knowledgeably.
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service protocols and maintain operational standards.
- Contribute to a safe, tidy, and inclusive atmosphere for colleagues and visitors alike.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to craft magical moments for every guest.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in customer-oriented roles within hospitality, tourism, bar, or related service sectors.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence when engaging with large groups.
- Background in public speaking, performing, presenting, or entertaining is beneficial.
- Proficiency in English; fluency in other languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, German, or Chinese is highly advantageous.
- Strong passion for exceptional customer care and relationship building.
- Ability to thrive collaboratively in a fast-paced setting while upholding professional standards.
