Role Overview
The Store Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supporting sales growth by leading and developing the store sales team. This position also ensures exceptional operational performance, excellent customer service, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in achieving the store's yearly sales objectives.
- Ensure adequate staffing and scheduling to maintain superior customer service levels.
- Conduct regular operational audits to verify adherence to store standard operating procedures.
- Manage after-sales activities, ensuring strict compliance with repair and returns policies through effective coordination with internal teams.
- Address customer needs, resolve complaints efficiently, and foster strong customer relationships to anticipate future requirements.
- Maintain visual merchandising according to brand guidelines.
- Ensure promotional activities and pricing align with company standards.
- Analyze sales data and report on product performance to optimize inventory usage.
- Submit daily invoices and sales summaries to the finance department.
- Oversee store operations including cash handling, inventory management, and record maintenance following company SOPs.
- Implement loss prevention measures to minimize fraud and theft.
- Manage inventory logistics such as receipt, stocking, transfers, and discrepancy resolution.
- Maintain store cleanliness and appearance to meet brand and company standards.
- Lead the team in adhering to operating procedures and store standards.
- Perform cashier duties as needed.
People Management and Development
- Set performance targets and metrics for sales team members, driving effective performance management.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and coaching to develop team capabilities.
- Promote a culture of continuous feedback and employee development.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 4 to 5 years of relevant retail experience, including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role within retail operations.
