Job Overview

The role of Store & Receiving Assistant at Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort, Tioman Island, involves managing requisition orders, inventory control, storage, and internal deliveries to ensure efficient stock management and distribution within the hotel facilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive requisition requests from various department heads, prepare items for issuance, and distribute them to the respective departments accurately.
  • Maintain strict oversight on stock movements ensuring all items are properly inventoried and issued in a timely manner.
  • Direct the loading and storage of all incoming goods to their correct storerooms efficiently.
  • Carry out internal hotel deliveries for surplus office furniture and merchandise, keeping detailed records of all transactions and deliveries made.
  • Manage receipt and storage of sensitive documents and confidential files, maintaining records related to authorized destruction of such files.
  • Keep the warehouse, records area, and storerooms clean, organized, and orderly to promote smooth operation and accessibility.
  • Conduct preliminary acceptance and verification of incoming items by assessing their volume and quality to ensure accuracy and compliance.
