Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic and results-oriented Apparel Store Manager to guide a youthful, high-performing, and fashion-conscious team. This role calls for someone with a strong educational background and substantial experience leading large apparel retail stores.

What the Role Involves

  • Run day-to-day apparel store activities while ensuring company rules, operating processes, and legal compliance are consistently followed.
  • Plan and execute initiatives that improve customer experience, increase sales, and help the store meet its targets.
  • Build, coach, and inspire a customer-first team culture in a positive and productive workplace.
  • Review store performance metrics to spot opportunities and apply data-backed actions to improve results.
  • Partner with merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to keep store plans aligned with wider business goals.
  • Identify ways to improve efficiency and adopt better practices to strengthen store operations.
  • Stay informed about fashion retail trends, customer preferences, and market changes, then adapt store strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and hygiene, and ensure all checklists and compliance requirements are completed.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have 5 to 7 years of experience in apparel retail, with proven success in managing larger-format apparel stores. A bachelor’s degree is expected, and preference will be given to candidates with a professional qualification in Business Administration, Fashion, or Hospitality. An MBA with a specialization in Fashion or Hospitality is also preferred.

Key Strengths Needed

The right candidate should bring strong leadership ability, team-building skills, analytical thinking, clear communication, retail operations knowledge, and a creative, customer-focused mindset. Good business awareness and a strong understanding of retail market dynamics are also important.
