Role overview

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading one of the brand’s UAE stores, managing both the day-to-day business and the store team. In addition to operational leadership, you will work closely with customers and support the brand philosophy of building relationships rather than simply making sales. You will take the time to understand customer needs and present the products that best match their expectations, ensuring every visitor receives thoughtful attention whether they are buying or just browsing.

Store operations and sales

  • Oversee all everyday store activities, including opening and closing routines, staffing, and supervision on the sales floor.
  • Take ownership of the store’s sales performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Lead the sales floor actively to improve conversion, average transaction value, and units per transaction.
  • Keep stock levels healthy, ensure correct pricing, and maintain proper stock handling inside the store.
  • Protect store presentation by maintaining visual merchandising and overall store standards.
  • Monitor and document stock movement, stock counts, and related records.
  • Apply strong loss-prevention measures throughout store operations.
  • Review stock variances, investigate issues, and escalate findings when needed.

Customer experience

  • Stay visible on the floor and set the standard for excellent customer service.
  • Manage high-value customers and resolve complicated customer concerns.
  • Ensure the team consistently delivers a premium service experience.
  • Track customer feedback and respond promptly with store-level action.

Team management

  • Lead the store team each day, including scheduling and assigning tasks.
  • Define daily priorities and ensure the team understands expectations.
  • Hold regular performance discussions and address concerns quickly when issues arise.
  • Build and maintain a positive, energetic workplace culture.

Training and onboarding

  • Make sure new employees complete onboarding and understand all store procedures.
  • Help the team stay updated on products and selling guidelines during day-to-day operations.
  • Reinforce service expectations and basic selling techniques on the shop floor.
  • Spot capability gaps and communicate training requirements to the Retail Manager.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant retail store management experience in the UAE, preferably in luxury retail, watches, or jewelry. A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a similar field is preferred. Relevant certifications in sales, management, or project management from accredited providers are also an advantage. Strong English communication skills are required, along with excellent Arabic communication skills.
