Key Responsibilities
- Direct the daily operations of an onboard retail store, overseeing a diverse international team.
- Foster a culture of high standards, motivation, and clear communication to enhance team performance.
- Collaborate with cruise line partners, premium brands, and onboard stakeholders to maintain impeccable service and commercial metrics.
- Balance operational rigor with strong relationship management to meet various stakeholder expectations.
- Lead sales efforts across multiple product categories, including gifts, confectionery, duty-free, and luxury items like fine jewellery and watches.
- Engage guests in an energetic retail environment by delivering excellent service and creating compelling brand experiences.
- Organize and participate in guest events that promote brand engagement and enhance the retail atmosphere.
Candidate Profile
- Proven retail or sales leadership experience managing entire stores or complex, multi-brand environments.
- Strong ability to build sales-driven teams by combining commercial goals with employee coaching and development.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering clear, purposeful feedback and aligning teams with business priorities.
- Commercially savvy with a strong focus on operational discipline and guest satisfaction.
- Adaptable decision-maker comfortable within dynamic and fast-paced settings.
- Passionate about leading diverse teams, uplifting standards, and providing memorable retail experiences.
Additional Information
- Work periods consist of 4 to 6 months at sea with 1 to 2 months breaks onshore for rest and recharge.
- All accommodation, meals, and daily living costs onboard are fully covered.
- Support provided for visa and documentation necessary for onboard employment.
