Role overview

Rituals is looking for a Store Manager in the Cork area who brings a practical, people-focused approach and can help the shop perform strongly while strengthening team culture. In this role, you will be responsible for creating memorable customer experiences, encouraging your colleagues to grow, and driving sales results.

What you will do

You will partner with the Area Manager to implement the local commercial plan and keep performance moving in the right direction. The role calls for hands-on leadership, setting an example for the team, and coaching colleagues so they can consistently deliver great service.

You will set daily priorities and action plans to support KPI delivery, build monthly plans around productivity goals, and make sure store administration runs smoothly. You will also oversee stock, manage everyday store operations, and support employee wellbeing and engagement through regular one-to-ones and by recognising achievements.

The ideal candidate is energetic, confident without ego, and brings a sense of humour to the workplace. You should be able to motivate others, stay focused on customer satisfaction and sales goals, and lead in a way that inspires strong performance.

  • Previous experience as a Store Manager, or in a similar role within retail or hospitality.
  • Strong people-management ability, including communication, motivation, coaching, building relationships, and inspiring others.
  • Experience passing on knowledge to encourage behaviour change and help others develop.
  • Good judgement, along with solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Additional information

This position is based in Cork, County Cork, Ireland and follows a full-time, onsite working pattern of 40 hours per week.
