Role Overview

The Store Manager will oversee all facets of store operations, including sales performance, profitability, customer satisfaction, and team management. Key Responsibilities

• Manage everyday store functions ensuring seamless operation.
• Enforce compliance with organizational policies, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness, effective visual merchandising, and product displays within the store.
• Supervise opening and closing protocols of the store.
• Drive sales growth to meet revenue and profit objectives.
• Analyze sales data to devise and implement improvement strategies.
• Identify and exploit opportunities to increase customer visits and engagement.
• Coordinate and execute promotional and seasonal marketing initiatives effectively.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure product availability.
• Monitor and reduce stock turnover, wastage, loss, and shrinkage.
• Collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams regarding stock replenishment.
• Conduct routine stock audits and inventory assessments.
• Recruit, train, guide, and develop store personnel.
• Organize staff schedules and optimize workforce productivity.
• Perform employee performance evaluations and provide continuous feedback.
• Promote a positive, customer-focused work culture.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and swiftly address complaints and escalations.
• Build and maintain strong customer relations to boost loyalty and repeat business.
• Oversee daily cash handling and billing operations.
• Control store expenditures in line with budget constraints.
• Prepare and submit operational and sales performance reports.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related discipline.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in retail, including a minimum of 2 years in a Store Manager capacity.
• Preferably experienced in supermarkets, FMCG, grocery retail, or modern trade environments.
