Job description
Job Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing store profitability, managing day-to-day retail operations, improving sales performance, and ensuring a consistently strong customer experience. The position also involves leading store teams, retaining talent, and making sure all activities follow company standards and regulations.
Education
A graduate or postgraduate qualification is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop store-level sales targets and plans that support overall business goals.
- Track and improve gross margin, stock on hand, category and brand mix, discount control, and related business measures.
- Put in place standards for productivity, quality, customer service, and operational execution.
- Suggest product ranges and ensure the store carries the right merchandise mix.
- Improve sales, margin, shrinkage control, inventory handling, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee commercial activities and statutory compliance requirements.
- Monitor staff performance and encourage collaboration across the team.
- Spot future talent and prepare people for key roles.
- Handle customer feedback and convert it into better service and smoother processes.
- Keep a close watch on competitors and resolve customer escalations effectively.
- Execute local promotional activities and events according to the marketing plan.
- Build and sustain a customer-first culture across the store.

Additional Information
