Primary Duties

• Collect shopping carts from the cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter, following approved Walmart procedures and ensuring all relevant logs are accurately maintained.
• Promptly respond to customer requests at registers, assist customers with carrying items in or out, and verify purchase receipts.
• Perform scheduled cleaning and maintenance tasks for restrooms, handling chemicals responsibly, and employing power equipment safely while completing required inspection reports.
• Comply strictly with safety protocols, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout procedures, and manage risks related to bloodborne pathogens.
• Maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk to track cart collection activities.
• Ensure the work environment remains safe, clean, and free from hazards in line with company policies.
• Enhance safety measures by utilizing personal protective equipment, such as steel-toe footwear and reflective vests when collecting carts for high visibility.
• Conduct safety inspections (sweeps) as needed to maintain workplace standards.

Salary

The position starts at an hourly wage of $17.75.
