Key Duties

• Collects and returns shopping carts from various store locations using company-approved procedures while maintaining accurate logs.
• Responds quickly to customer service requests at registers and assists customers safely with carrying items, verifying purchase receipts as needed.
• Performs occasional cleaning and upkeep of restrooms following safety protocols for chemical handling and waste disposal; operates power equipment responsibly, including completing inspection reports prior to use.
• Follows established safety and emergency protocols concerning hazardous materials, lockout/tagout procedures, and blood borne pathogen guidelines.
• Maintains an up-to-date Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk.
• Helps uphold a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace by strictly adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Promotes safety by wearing required personal protective equipment such as steel-toe footwear and reflective vests for visibility during cart collection.
• Completes safety inspection sweeps as needed.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.05.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
