Position Overview
As a Stockperson / Cartpusher, you will contribute significantly to delivering a safe, organized, and welcoming shopping atmosphere for customers. Your primary duties include retrieving shopping carts from designated areas such as cart corrals, parking lots, and perimeter locations and returning them to specified storage spots following approved procedures. This role also involves engaging positively with customers and prioritizing safety to help ensure efficient store operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collect and return shopping carts from parking lot areas and store perimeter to designated locations using company-approved protocols, ensuring accurate completion of logs.
- Respond quickly to customer and store requests, including assisting with carrying purchases and verifying receipts when necessary.
- Conduct occasional cleaning and upkeep duties, including restroom maintenance, adhering to safety guidelines on chemical usage and equipment handling.
- Follow all safety procedures, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen protocols to maintain a secure environment for coworkers and shoppers.
- Maintain a hazard-free workspace by using personal protective equipment such as steel-toe shoes and reflective vests, and perform safety inspections as required.
- Maintain flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays in response to business demand.
Challenges Associated With the Role
- Manage a high volume of tasks efficiently during busy, fast-moving periods, including overnight shifts.
- Physically demanding role requiring standing for long durations, bending, lifting inventory or equipment up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive stocking and organization tasks with attention to detail.

Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.
