Overview
Joining Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate offers an engaging role in a fast-moving retail setting. You will be responsible for unloading shipments, processing products, and moving pallets to the sales floor, all while maintaining safety and cleanliness within the workplace. This position plays a vital part in providing customers with a positive shopping experience and contributes to the store’s overall operation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare the receiving area and unload merchandise trailers, including completing live unloads of remaining stock.
- Ensure the safe handling of merchandise, upholding cold chain protocols for refrigerated and frozen items and delivering goods to the sales floor overnight.
- Contribute to stocking efforts on the floor and assist customers when needed to promote a positive shopping environment.
- Organize overstock by labeling and placing items in designated storage to aid inventory management.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workspace by adhering to company procedures, completing safety checks, and securing displays and fixtures.
- Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support store operations.

- Perform physical activities such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Compensation
The starting hourly rate for this position is $17.75.
